Mauro Berruto: “Sport taught me the value of fatigue”

Head coach of the Italian men’s national volleyball team from 2010 to 2015, technical director of the Italian national archery team, managing director of the Holden School in Turin, but also a coach, inspirational speaker, storyteller,…

There are many professions that Mauro Berruto has played and still plays, all at a very high level.

He tells us about teamwork in this interview. He has coached many teams, including Italy, Finland and Greece, winning fifteen medals in his career, including a bronze medal with the Italian volleyball team at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Teamwork, according to Berruto, is something very natural, where everyone can mitigate their weaknesses and enhance their strengths.

He also says that people who have taken part in sport can face the job market with an extra gear: that of the awareness that fatigue is a value worth preserving.
